Don’t Miss Our Emails — Here’s How to Fix It
Have you noticed our emails landing in your Promotions tab or not showing up at all?
You’re not alone. Email providers like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo have changed how they sort messages. It helps organize your inbox, but it can also hide emails you actually want.
Let’s look at what changed and how to make sure our messages reach you.
What Changed in Gmail and Other Email Services
Gmail
Gmail now sorts promotional emails by relevance, not just by date.
Messages from senders you open often appear first. Others move down or get tucked away.
There is also a Purchases section that groups order confirmations and receipts.
If you do not open a sender’s messages often, Gmail may treat them as less important.
Outlook, Yahoo, and Others
Other email providers work in a similar way.

Outlook separates mail into Focused and Other.

Yahoo and AOL move marketing messages into Promotions or Spam.

Apple Mail uses your Contacts and open history to decide what matters most.
The more you interact with a sender, the easier it is to see their messages.
The Fix: Add Us to Your Contacts
To make sure you never miss our updates, add us to your contacts.

When you add us, your email provider learns that our messages are safe and wanted.
That helps them reach your main inbox every time.
You can also reply to any of our emails. Even a quick reply tells your email provider that our messages are important to you.
How to Add Us to Your Contacts
If you prefer a faster option, download our Virtual Contact File (.vcf) from our website footer. You can also download it here:
Opening the file will add curtis@huntercreekcrafts.com to your contacts automatically in most cases.
You can also follow the manual steps below for your email provider.
Gmail

Open any email from curtis@huntercreekcrafts.com.

Click the sender’s name at the top.

Select Add to contacts.

You can also create a filter so our emails always go to your Primary inbox.
Outlook

Click the Settings gear icon.

Go to Mail → Junk email.

Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.

Enter curtis@huntercreekcrafts.com and save.
Yahoo Mail

Open an email from us.

Hover over our name.

Click Add to contacts.

Save the contact.
AOL Mail

Open an email from us.

Click our name.

Choose Add Contact.

Click or tap our name.

Need a Break from Our Emails?
We know you receive many emails every day. Sometimes you may want fewer messages from us.
Soon you will be able to manage your email categories in our Preference Center. This feature is coming soon.
Until then, you can unsubscribe from all Hunter Creek Crafts emails by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. Transactional emails, such as order confirmations and shipping updates, will still be sent when needed.
If you decide to stop receiving our emails, please use the Unsubscribe link instead of marking our messages as spam. Marking emails as spam can affect how email providers treat our messages.
